Donate and support Austin-Artists

Every now and then we get kind requests from friends of Austin-Artists regarding how they can support the site and the work that’s put into it. We have set up a donation service (button on the right sidebar) that’s easy and safe to use for those who feel like contributing and helping out with the growing costs of running this site.

We want to continue to share the stories of our local artisans.

No one is obligated to donate and please know that a donation, however large or small is much welcome and most appreciated! You’ll find the Paypal Donation button on the right sidebar of this blog. It is easy and safe to use.

You can also contribute by recommending artists for us to interview, providing completed interviews, photos and anything that might be of interest. Just anything…

Thank you for your support!

Public art that’s fun-Video interview with Dale Whistler

Public art is nothing new, but when Dale Whistler creates it, fun is part of the equation.  Austin-Artists got to meet with Dale in his east side shop and learn more about what makes this creator of iconic Austin art tick.

It don’t mean a thing if it ain’t got that swing-Video interview with Austin Artist Jeff Lofton

Austin Artists.com had the chance to meet jazz trumpeter and composer Jeff Lofton just outside the Long Center. Jeff is a phenomenal Austin asset, bringing a wealth of jazz experience and knowledge, along with a swinging horn to this city. Whether you listen to jazz or not, it is well worth the time to listen to Jeff as he takes you on a journey through musical history and styles.

Jeff just released his latest CD, “Jazz to the People” on Nov 7 at Mexic-Arte. You can find out more at www.jefflofton.com
