It was in 1999 when in need of vintage photos of San Francisco that Eric was led to Julius Shulman. At the outset, an enduring friendship between the two began. Recognizing the extraordinary amount of humanity and profundity Shulman and his work possessed, Eric put into motion his inspiration for Visual Acoustics.
Eric is currently at work on a narrative feature film exploring the contemporary art world while running Kaleidoscope Mediaworks.
LeAna Clifton is an artist and photographer originally from South Africa that was captivated by Marfa on a trip to the area in 1996 visiting the Chinati/ Judd installations. She has been in love ever since. LeAna makes Austin her home now, but her heart may belong to Marfa. Take a few minutes to watch and find out more.
Daniel Brents is an emerging artist who, following a career as an architect and urban planner, returned to painting. In 2005, he began studies at the Glassell School of Art in Houston. During each year of his enrollment, his paintings were chosen to be included in the annual exhibitions of student art, as well as other juried group exhibitions.
In 2008, Chevron purchased three of his paintings and commissioned a fourth for their permanent collection. In the first quarter of 2009, collectors purchased three additional works by the artist. Take a few minutes to learn more about Daniel and his art.
