Mystery in light and shadow-video interview with Daniel Brents
Daniel Brents is an emerging artist who, following a career as an architect and urban planner, returned to painting. In 2005, he began studies at the Glassell School of Art in Houston. During each year of his enrollment, his paintings were chosen to be included in the annual exhibitions of student art, as well as other juried group exhibitions.
In 2008, Chevron purchased three of his paintings and commissioned a fourth for their permanent collection. In the first quarter of 2009, collectors purchased three additional works by the artist. Take a few minutes to learn more about Daniel and his art.

Love the architecture elements in his paintings. Love the contrast of light and dark. The painting “Tile” is a great piece! Would like to meet him and see more of his works.
Daniel is a fine artist and a nice person. Touch base with Austin Details gallery…Daniel may be back soon.
